Joe Biden visited Arizona, a border state, Tuesday but still refuses to visit the southern border amidst record-high levels of illegal immigration.
The White House said that Biden is making the visit to celebrate what they say is a ‘manufacturing boom’.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer whether or not Biden plans to pay the border a visit during a recent White House press conference, instead saying, “The president’s trip tomorrow is about the American manufacturing boom.”

Another reporter decided to hold Jean-Pierre’s feet to the fire, asking, “If the president is not gonna make time to visit the border during his trip to a border state, will he do it in the new year?”
Jean-Pierre answered by accusing “Congressional Republicans” of engaging in “political stunts,” and asking what they are planning on doing to deal with “this issue.”

The Biden regime has drawn a lot of heat from Americans over the massive surge of illegal immigration into the United States.
A report by Customs and Border Protection last month found that a record-breaking 2.4 million people attempted to enter the United States during the fiscal year 2022, which ended on September 30th.
Aside from the problem of untracked people coming in, surges in fentanyl overdoses also spell issues for the nation. One DEA Administrator claimed, “More than half of the fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills being trafficked in communities across the country now contain a potentially deadly dose of fentanyl,” and that the pills are being produced en-masse by the Mexican Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels.
Problems stemming from illegal immigration remain a popular issue for the American people. A total of 67% of Americans believe a wall should be used at the southern border in order to stop the flow of illegal aliens into the country, according to a recent survey. An even stronger 69% support the use of a federal electronic E-Verify system in order to confirm legal employment as well.
