Fox News host Tucker Carlson reacted to an attack on former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, who criticized the participation of “transgender” females, biological men, in female collegiate athletics at San Francisco State University.
Carlson claimed that Democrats, specifically the Biden administration, promoted the “transgenderism” movement, which he described as a “cult.”
“If the people who claim to be victims are working to oppress you, they’re not actually victims,” Carlson said. “They are oppressors. And once again, with this cult specifically, that is inevitable. Because at its core is a provable lie, defied and revealed by the unchanging laws of science.”
He argued that the “transgender” movement centers on the lie that people can willingly change their genders, claiming that after digging up a fossilized skeleton “thousands of years later,” people can still tell its gender.
Carlson compared “transgenderism” to religion, arguing that after hundreds of years, the U.S. “has finally become a non-Christian country.”
He said that all individuals worship something while sharing a video from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota, where pastors victimized Audrey Hale, the shooter who killed six people, including three children, at The Covenant School in Tennessee. Hale, a biological woman, identified as a “transgender” male.
Police searched Hale’s home, finding journals kept under her bed about other school shootings she had planned.
“In America’s new religion, the victims are not the children who died in Nashville. The victim is the woman who killed them because Audrey Hale called herself transgender. She was, by definition, a holy martyr. Watch this pastor in a formerly Christian church compare Audrey Hale to Jesus,” Carlson said.
In the clip that Carlson showed, the pastors compared Jesus’ crucifixion to the anti-trans laws passed in the U.S., arguing that Hale’s existence was “so threatening” toward people that support laws against “transgenders.”

“So Audrey Hale’s very existence as a transgender person was so threatening to authorities that they killed her just as the Pharisees killed Jesus. Her death had nothing to do with the fact she just murdered six people. That was the pastor’s sermon at St. Mark’s in Fargo,” Carlson said.
“So it’s pretty clear that St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is no longer a Christian church. So what is it now? Well, it’s a transgenderist church, one of many,” he added.
Carlson argued that “transgenderism” is the U.S.’s “fastest growing religion,” saying that its theology focuses on “supernatural transfigurations,” like changing someone’s gender.
“People who believe that they are god tend to react very badly when told that they’re not. So if you’re running the government, and you wanted to prevent violence in your own country, you would be very concerned about the growth of a cult like this,” he said.
Carlson pointed out the Biden administration’s lack of concern regarding the “transgender” movement,” citing White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s remarks labeling the banning of “gender-affirming care” as a “dangerous attack.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines “gender-affirming care” as medical interventions to change a person’s gender.
Jean-Pierre said fourteen states have banned “gender-affirming care,” calling such restrictions “a dangerous attack.”
“This is awful news. Well, let’s be very clear about that. LGBTQI+ kids are resilient, they are fierce, they fight back, they’re not going anywhere, and we have their back. This administration has their back,” Jean-Pierre said.
Carlson citing Jean-Pierre’s remarks, accused the White House of “endorsing” a community in which one of its members committed a school shooting. He shared examples of “transgenders” being violent, such as in 2019, when a “transgender” girl tried to assassinate Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh in his home.
At the end of his monologue, Carlson showed video footage of the attack on Riley Gaines by “transgender” activists at the San Francisco State University (SFSU)
Gaines gave a speech at SFSU for Turning Point USA about protecting women’s sports. Police officers escorted her through the school’s hallways after protestors attacked her. She posted a video on Twitter showing the activists chanting, “Trans rights are human rights” during her escort.
The prisoners are running the asylum at SFSU…I was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man. This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces.

“That’s the most dangerous extremist group in the United States. There’s no mistaking that,” Carlson concluded.
