Chris Rock Says Trump Arrest ‘Is Only Going To Make Him More Popular’

Comedian Chris Rock spoke on the potential arrest of Donald Trump, declaring that those who want to have him locked up are “stupid” because all they are doing is turning him into a martyr.

As many likely already know, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Democrat whose campaign was largely financed by George Soros, is thinking about pursuing criminal charges against Trump over hush money he gave to infamous pornographic film actress and director Stormy Daniels back in 2016 in hopes of hiding an alleged affair.

Rock’s remarks came Sunday at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., where a group of comedians, actors, and politicians convened to celebrate Adam Sandler being given the Mark Twain Prize, awarded to “the world’s greatest humorists.”

“Are you stupid?” Rock, 58, joked to an audience featuring prominent Democrats such as Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and some representatives of the Biden administration.

“Are you guys really going to arrest Trump?” Rock pondered. “Do you know this is only going to make him more popular?”

“It’s like arresting Tupac. He’s just gonna sell more records,” Rock continued, invoking the late rapper Tupac Shakur, who was shot to death in Las Vegas in 1996.

The longtime comedian joked that the money transfer to Daniels was a “romantic” gesture intended to stop former first lady Melania Trump from catching wind about the former president’s alleged affair.

“We’ve all been cheated on… Don’t you wish that the person that cheated on you paid off somebody so you wouldn’t find out?”

“That’s romantic!” Rock quipped.

Multiple comedians reportedly noted the leftist culture that often dominates the entertainment industry.

“In these woke times we live in, the one person who would not win the Mark Twain Prize was Mark Twain,” charged David Spade, who spent numerous seasons with Adam Sandler on “Saturday Night Live.” “He had some iffy material.”

“Comedians are trying to make you laugh, and that’s that’s what the goal is,” Sandler reportedly told the Daily Mail, acknowledging, “Yeah, it’s more hypersensitive than it’s ever been but we’re gonna be alright.”

Rock dunked on Trump during his monologue, while also flaming Biden at the same time.

“Trump was so bad as a president, he was so bad that Joe Biden had to burst off a monument. Biden was dead for 16 years,” he said, mocking Biden’s age and likely his mental condition as well.

Blaze Media noted that Biden is the oldest man to ever enter the White House, starting his term at age 78, now being 80 years old. If Trump takes the White House once again in 2024, he will be 78 years of age during his inauguration.

Recent surveys have found that a majority of Americans report being at least “somewhat concerned” about Biden’s mental health.
