Following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, U.S. Army Green Beret sniper Matthew Murphy has voiced serious concerns about the official account of the event. Speaking with Sara Gonzales on BlazeTV, Murphy shared his doubts and raised unsettling questions.
Murphy found the circumstances surrounding the incident suspicious. He pointed out the shooter’s proximity to Trump, stating, “He was 120, 150 yards away from President Trump. That’s as close as you can get.” Despite rallygoers alerting the police, the counter-sniper did not act, which baffled Murphy.
“The sniper on the roof definitely saw the shooter,” Murphy insisted. “Even without special equipment, on a white roof, it’s impossible not to see him. So why didn’t he take the shot?” Murphy, with his expertise, emphasized he would not have hesitated.
Speculation grew after an anonymous 4chan post suggested the counter-sniper was ordered to stand down. Murphy acknowledged this as a possible explanation, though he could not verify the claim.
Gonzales echoed Murphy’s skepticism, suggesting the incident might involve more than just incompetence. “There are too many coincidences for this to be simple incompetence,” she noted, hinting at a darker possibility.
Murphy also found the bullet trajectory shown in the video to be unusual. The bullet that narrowly missed Trump seemed to travel on a flat path, which Murphy said did not match a shot from an elevated position. Furthermore, a woman seated behind Trump was seen ducking and then quickly pulling out her phone, which raised additional questions.
Discussing the incident with other snipers, Murphy discovered they shared his concerns. “Everyone I’ve spoken to agrees. Something else happened,” he stated.
Gonzales asked Murphy if he thought it could be an inside job or involve a second shooter. Murphy replied, “It could potentially be an inside job.”
These insights from Murphy and Gonzales leave many wondering about the true nature of the events that day, adding fuel to the ongoing speculation.
