FBI Employee Arrested for Child Sex Abuse

A Utah-based Federal Bureau of Investigation employee is facing charges of molesting multiple children.

Law enforcement arrested Robert Alexander Smith, 65, after a young girl confessed to her mother that the FBI employee allegedly molested her. This incident occurred in 2020 when the girl was around six years old, and the mother reported the findings to the police in June.

Four other girls ranging in age from pre-teen to high school have since made similar allegations bringing the total number of potential victims to five.

Smith’s home at the time was located in Stansbury Park, and this is the scene where the alleged crimes took place.

Court documents reveal the federal employee “occupied a position of special trust as it pertains to the victims in this case.”

Smith is currently in jail and being held without bail after he was arrested on August 24th. He faces four 1st-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, four class-A misdemeanor counts of lewdness involving a child, and two class-B misdemeanor counts of lewdness.

“We are aware of the arrest of an FBI employee,” the agency said in a statement. “The FBI takes allegations of misconduct very seriously. As such, the incident has been referred to the FBI’s Internal Affairs Section. We cannot comment further on an ongoing personnel matter.”

Trust in the FBI and the Department of Justice is at an all-time low as damning information about political bias has come to light. For example, while acting as secretary of state for the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton used multiple private email servers to send sensitive government emails, which was illegal.

When Clinton was ordered to turn over her devices, it was found that some of them, such as her BlackBerries, were smashed with hammers. The FBI let all this slide.

President Joe Bidens son, Hunter Biden, left his laptop at a repair shop and the shop owner found illegal and distasteful images, emails, and videos on it. It is now known that the FBI purposely covered it up in order not to have it interfere with the 2020 presidential election.

The FBI’s failure to act unbiasedly in several cases and its recent unprecedented raid on former President Donald Trump’s home make its credibility almost non-existent.

As Smith awaits his trial, the rest of the FBI is on trial with America’s trust.
