Gov. Kristi Noem Doubts FBI On Unprecedented Raid

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) echoed concerns shared by Republicans across the country that the Department of Justice and the FBI cannot be trusted regarding the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

When on “Fox and Friends,” the governor said we cannot trust what the government agencies are telling us about the seized material taken from Trump’s Florida estate.

Noem said, “I’ll tell you what the one thing I’ve heard across this country, Republicans, Democrats, the public, they don’t trust the DOJ, and they want this to be transparent. They don’t think they need a special master to come in and look at this. That’s ridiculous. Hiding these documents and this information, keeping it within the DOJ, is wrong. It needs to be transparent so people can build trust back in the FBI and the DOJ and what they’re doing.”

The FBI has long since lost public trust for various actions of bias. One of the latest incidents showing the FBI’s incapability and bias involved President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden. Hunter’s laptop contents were made public and showed him doing illegal drugs and engaging in prostitution. It has recently become known that the FBI told Facebook to cover up the Hunter laptop story in 2020 in order not to harm Biden’s presidential election prospects.

“Basically, the background here is the FBI basically came to us, some folks on our team, and was like, hey, just so you know, you should be on high alert,” Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg said.

Noem said FBI and DOJ transparency is crucial going forward in light of the scandals. She also urged people to let more information come to light because no one really knows the truth at this point.

“I think it’s important that this is transparent and that we do have someone outside of the DOJ looking at this and talking to people. What is this information? We don’t know what was in there. I believe President Trump declassified all this information,” Noem continued.

She explained that the American people deserve to know what was in those seized documents, but we have no way of trusting the DOJ or the FBI to tell the truth.

The governor also believes that the raid and seizure is yet another political fight against Trump, which is why we cannot trust these government establishments to do this investigation alone.
