Hillary Admits Biden’s Age Is ‘A Concern For Anyone’

Even Hillary Clinton believes Americans are correct to have worries over President Joe Biden’s age and mental acuity. This came in the aftermath of yet another near-fall as he represented the U.S. to other world leaders.

The failed presidential candidate spoke Saturday at the Financial Times Weekend Festival and was asked about the bumbling president. A video of Biden stumbling and almost falling down stairs at the G7 summit in Japan last week went viral.

This, of course, is just the latest in a long sequence of missteps both literal and figurative that called into question the aging president’s overall health.

Clinton confessed that the worry is legitimate. “It’s a concern for anyone. We’ve had presidents who had fallen before who were a lot younger, and people didn’t go into heart palpitations.”

She added that Biden’s age is an issue and the public has “every right to consider it.”

To be clear, her comments were bracketed by praise for the Democratic president. She said he has an outstanding policy record and fails to get the credit he deserves.

Many Democrats believe he is the only impediment to former President Donald Trump being reelected next year. Clinton expressed her desire that he remains focused and capable of winning the 2024 election, saying “that’s what we should all hope for.”

Biden struck many as confused at the G7 summit. First Lady Jill Biden had to lead her husband by the hand as he met with Japanese leader Fumio Kishida Friday. Then the president had trouble shuffling to where he needed to stand for photographers.

The 80-year-old Biden is already the oldest president in U.S. history. He has announced his intentions to run for another term in the White House, and he would be 82 on Inauguration Day in 2025.

It is doubtless that his age and mental prowess will be called into question on the grueling campaign trail leading up to November 2024. Besides Hillary, there are many Republicans who call into question his fitness for another four years in Washington.

Former White House physician and current Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) issued multiple calls for Biden to undergo cognitive testing. Failing to do so, Jackson believes the president should forego a second term.

Earlier this year, the president’s physician gave him a clean bill of health.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor expressed his judgment that the Democrat is a “healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.” Any concerns about Biden’s mental health were not disclosed.
