Paul Ingrassia is raising alarms about the integrity of voter rolls in several key battleground states, suggesting that thousands of ineligible voters may be on the rolls as the 2024 presidential election approaches. With just weeks left before Election Day, concerns about illegal voting could play a pivotal role in states like Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
Ingrassia warns that Democratic-controlled states may have allowed noncitizens to be added to their voter rolls, with ineligible voters posing a significant threat to election integrity. States like Pennsylvania, with its 19 electoral votes, are especially critical. Ingrassia highlights that even if a small fraction of the 7.2 million illegal immigrants who have crossed the U.S. border under the Biden-Harris administration end up on the voter rolls, it could be enough to alter the outcome of the election.
The RNC, Ingrassia argues, should focus on scrutinizing voter rolls and ensuring that all ineligible voters are removed before November 5. He also calls for an aggressive legal strategy to challenge any suspicious voter roll activity, particularly in states controlled by Democratic governors. Pennsylvania, led by Gov. Josh Shapiro, has been identified as a state with a history of election irregularities, particularly in cities like Philadelphia.
Ingrassia also criticizes the media for downplaying concerns over voter roll integrity. He notes that mainstream outlets like The New York Times have dismissed Republican efforts to investigate voter rolls as “echoes of Jim Crow,” a narrative Ingrassia vehemently rejects.
