Just before President Joe Biden made his now infamous speech, attacking and trying to intimidate Trump supporters across America, Trump-ally Steve Bannon was the victim of a swatting attempt that continues a trend on the left of violence and intimidation that was seen clearly by the American people during the outrageous speech given by the president shortly after.
Steve Bannon, a former Trump administration adviser, said he was targeted by politically motivated activists who falsely reported a crime at his home. In response, he said that police arrived at his home in an apparent attempt to either harass him or cause physical harm.
Such acts have become somewhat common in recent years and are commonly referred to as “swatting.” In fact, Bannon reported that he was the victim of a separate swatting incident in July.

Biden took the stage for his speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 8 p.m., which was less than 45 minutes after police reportedly arrived at Bannon’s D.C. residence.
In a subsequent statement to reporters, Bannon said that the incident was “100% triggered by the White House,” which has sought to demonize supporters of former President Donald Trump’s agenda.
“The White House is trying to use this type of violence,” he said. “They’re stirring up the unstable people on the far left to do this.”
The ultimate goal of such activists, Bannon said, is to use “very specific” language upon contacting law enforcement in hopes of convincing police to “use deadly force” against political adversaries.
“These people show up as they’re supposed to,” he said of officers, noting that “they think they are coming into emergency situations.”
If his critics believe such attacks will silence him, however, Bannon said: “I’m never going to stop so they’ll have to kill me first.”
This incident occurred just days after U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) reported that she was the victim of two separate swatting incidents at her home. Bannon brought up that case in denouncing the troubling trend.
“What’s happening to MTG and myself is they’re trying to get us assassinated by using law enforcement,” he concluded.
