RFK Jr. Criticizes Kamala Harris’s Record, Labels Her A ‘War Hawk

In a powerful critique, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who initially sought the Democratic nomination, has sharply attacked Vice President Kamala Harris’s record, now that she is expected to run for president following Joe Biden’s decision to step down. Having switched to an independent candidacy, RFK Jr. did not hold back in his criticism.

Speaking on recent events, RFK Jr. stated, “A little over a year ago when I entered this race, I predicted that President Biden suffered from a degenerative condition that was not going to improve and that it would make it impossible for him to govern effectively.” He accused the Democratic National Committee (DNC) of concealing Biden’s condition from the public and manipulating the nomination process to prevent any challenges to Biden that would reveal his weaknesses.

Kennedy went on to criticize Harris’s stance on foreign policy. “I think you know Kamala Harris is the party of war. She’s a war hawk,” he asserted. “Kamala Harris is a war hawk on Ukraine, she’s a war hawk on China. I think that we should be figuring out how to coexist with the rest of the world as best we can.”

RFK Jr. didn’t stop at foreign policy. He also questioned Harris’s economic and healthcare policies, saying, “She’s not going to do anything about the national deficit. I’ve never heard her speak about the chronic disease epidemic. I think she’s a product of the corporate control of our democracy.” Furthermore, he criticized her civil rights record, calling it “one of the worst civil rights records of any public official.”

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” expressed his support for RFK Jr., suggesting he would have been a better Democratic candidate than Harris. “Just imagine if the Democrat Party had gone in that direction instead of the direction that they are in right now,” Rubin said. He encouraged Democrats who are dissatisfied with their current options but hesitant to vote Republican to consider RFK Jr. as a viable alternative. “I think he will absolutely take more from Kamala or whoever else the Democrat is,” Rubin added.

Kennedy’s harsh assessment comes at a crucial time as Harris prepares to take the lead in the Democratic race. With RFK Jr.’s criticisms echoing the sentiments of some disillusioned voters, the vice president faces an uphill battle in solidifying her support within the party and the electorate at large.
