Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has warned that voting for Kamala Harris in the upcoming election could lead to nuclear war. Now endorsing President Donald Trump, Kennedy shared his concerns on X, stating that Harris’ lack of foreign policy knowledge and aggressive stance would put the U.S. on a dangerous path.
In his video, Kennedy invoked his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, who he said championed diplomacy with adversaries to prevent war. Kennedy claimed that if JFK were alive today, he would support Trump’s approach of negotiating directly with Russia to resolve international disputes, including the ongoing Ukraine conflict.
Kennedy criticized Harris’ acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention, describing her rhetoric as “belligerent” and suggesting it indicates she is easily influenced by the military establishment. He argued that her inexperience could make her a tool for those seeking to escalate global tensions, leading to dangerous outcomes for America.
Connecting Harris to former Vice President Dick Cheney, Kennedy accused her of following a similar pattern that could push the nation into conflict. He claimed that Cheney’s actions in the Iraq war, based on manipulated evidence, caused the deaths of over a million people and warned that Harris might repeat these mistakes, this time with nuclear consequences.
Kennedy referenced a study predicting that World War III would be brief but catastrophic, killing billions in under two hours. He quoted JFK’s words, stating that survivors of a nuclear war would “envy the dead,” underscoring the magnitude of the threat.
He called on voters to support Trump, arguing that his diplomatic approach is necessary to avoid disaster. “If you want to avoid nuclear war, I strongly urge you to vote for Donald Trump,” Kennedy said, presenting a choice between Trump’s peace-focused policies and Harris’ risky, aggressive stance.
