ICE Arrests Migrants Suspected In NYPD Attack

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested a group of illegal immigrants at a Greyhound Bus Station in Phoenix, Arizona Monday, who are allegedly the ones seen in a video beating New York Police Department officers.

ICE confirmed to Fox News Monday night that the government agencies caught and detained the suspects, but did not release their identities.

A New York court released — without bail — four men who are alleged to be the officers’ attackers. Darwin Andres Gomez, 19; Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19; Wilson Juarez, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24 all dodged charges in connection with an attack on two New York City police officers. They quickly found their way to a bus to flee to California.

The release of the suspects sent shockwaves through New York’s government. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) told reporters Friday that she wanted to know from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg why the government released the suspects without bail. “Certainly an assault on a police officer is bail-eligible,” Hochul said.

New York may soon deport the now-apprehended suspects if Hochul’s office has anything to do with it. “There are over 100 crimes that also can lead to deportation, and so that is also something I want to have a conversation with the district attorney about – his options here,” Hochul told reporters.

Progressive New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg has defended his call to release the illegal aliens without bail. He claims the video of the attack was not sufficient evidence to detain the suspects because the city could not “conclusively identify each defendant” in the video.

“I think anyone that is a repeated offender of a violent crime, a felony, should not remain on our streets. And if they are part of the migrant asylum seekers and they are found guilty, I think that the federal government should do their job of deporting that person,” Mayor Eric Adams said in a Monday news conference.

“Joe Biden’s open border policies are a middle finger to every law-abiding American. He has the power to stop the invasion and yet he is doing nothing,” Trump PAC spokesman Alex Pfeiffer told The New York Post. The PAC recently released a pro-Trump ad that features the migrant attack on NYPD officers.
