Tucker Carlson Fears Trump Could Be A Target For Assassination

Conservative news analyst Tucker Carlson implied former President Donald Trump might face assassination risks.

In an interview with Adam Carolla, Carlson pointed to the criticism, protests, impeachments, and indictments Trump has faced over the recent months.

Carlson said, “We’re speeding toward assassination, obviously.”

He further mentioned that “Permanent Washington,” spanning both parties, perceives something about Trump as “so threatening” that they deem his presence in office unacceptable.

He continued, “It’s hard to overstate how bad this is. I don’t know where it’s going. But there’s a collision that’s clearly imminent.”

Carlson also labeled Joe Biden as “senile, in a way that’s impossible to deny” and asserted that he isn’t effectively governing.

He commented, “I’ve never been this worried about anything as I am about where this is going.”

By the conclusion of a potential second term, Biden, who currently holds the record for being the oldest president in U.S. history, would be 86 years old.

In spite of the numerous criticisms directed towards Trump, the former president retains significant popularity. This is evident to the extent that he seems to be headed toward a decisive victory over the entire field of contenders in the GOP presidential primary for the party’s 2024 nomination.

With polling indicating that Trump and Biden are likely to win their respective party’s presidential nomination, it appears that Americans could see a Biden-Trump rematch in the 2024 general election.

Shortly before the commencement of the initial GOP presidential debate last week, which Trump chose not to attend, Carlson unveiled a pre-recorded interview with Trump that has since garnered over 250 million views.

According to Breitbart, the interview was watched 90 million times within the first three hours after it was posted.

Trump campaign senior adviser Susie Wiles described the interview as providing “a clear contrast between President Trump engaging in a thoughtful policy discussion about what his second term will look like versus 90-second canned sound bites and platitudes from the debate stage.”

On the night of the debate, Wiles said, “President Trump won this evening’s Republican debate in dominating fashion. More people watched President Trump’s interview with Tucker Carlson than the rest of the field on the debate stage combined.”

She continued, “What is clear after the dust settles is none of the other candidates looked ready to take on Crooked Joe Biden. Only one leader can Make America Great Again, and that’s President Donald J. Trump.”
